National Sales Meetings (NSM’s) are a great way to bring your entire team together and get everyone excited about the year ahead. Recognition, fun, and paving the road to the future are all important elements of any national sales meeting. Now obviously, things look a little different in 2020, but national sales meetings can still happen! What national sales meetings used to look like
In the past, companies would gather teams in one spot in a live event setting for their national sales meetings. In these types of environments, there is often a kick-off or opening entertainment like a video or music to pump people up and get everyone excited. Sales achievements, accomplishments, and teamwork are celebrated. In the opening session, typically, there are leadership speakers like the CEO of the company or a sales leader talking about last year's success. From there, a keynote speaker like an athlete, an opener, or a closer, who gives a positive and upbeat message. Finally, national sales meetings usually end the day with a reception and lively entertainment.
You can expect live national sales meetings to be branded with a theme and logo displayed throughout the event in the meeting rooms, reception spaces and during meal breaks.
What will national sales meetings look like in 2020 & 2021?
Just like with every other event and meeting that was supposed to happen in 2020, people are still trying to figure out what national sales meetings are going to look like now. Most likely NSM’s are going to be completely virtual. Because everyone is going to be virtual, Clarity has already started helping our customers design and build an exciting and memorable national sales meeting.

Lastly, why not get your employees excited about your virtual sales meeting by sending out branded company snacks or wellness kits to their homes. This is an easy way to brand your virtual event and get your employees excited. Win-win situation.
If you want to think outside the box, you could incorporate recognition, awards, and games into the virtual setting. The sky's the limit with the virtual route and you can easily let your imagination run wild to put on an engaging, fun, and positive virtual national sales meeting!
